What is APSC 2026?
The Asian Pacific Stroke Conference (APSC) 2026 is a major international scientific meeting conducted by Asia Pacific Stroke Organisation (APSO) in collaboration with National Stroke Association of Sri Lanka (NSASL). This meeting is dedicated to stroke care, research, prevention, and rehabilitation in the Asia-Pacific region. The conference brings together neurologists, physicians, interventional specialists, surgeons, rehabilitation professionals, nurses, researchers, and allied health professionals.
When and where will APSC 2026 be held?
APSC 2026 will be held as a physical meeting at Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), Colombo 7, Sri Lanka.
Who can attend the conference?
The conference is open to:

- Neurosurgeons and interventional specialists
- Rehabilitation physicians and therapists

How can I register for APSC 2026?
Registration will be available only through the online registration portal on the official APSC 2026 website. Please refer registration page for details on registration categories, fees, and deadlines.
Can I register only for the Rehabilitation Programme?
Yes. Delegates may register exclusively for the Rehabilitation Programme scheduled on Day 3 of the conference, through the registration process. Delegates registered for the main conference are automatically registered free of additional fee for the Rehabilitation Programme.
What is the abstract submission process?
Abstracts must be submitted online only via the abstract submission portal on the APSC 2026 website. Authors are required to follow the prescribed abstract format and guidelines.
What are the key abstract submission dates?

What are late-breaking abstracts?
Late-breaking abstracts are intended for important, recent research findings that were not available before the main abstract submission deadline. These abstracts will be reviewed separately and considered for presentation in designated late-breaking sessions.
Late-breaking abstract deadlines will be announced in due course.
Will accepted abstracts be published?
Accepted abstracts will be included in the official abstract book of APSC 2026.
What presentation formats are available?
Accepted abstracts may be allocated to:
- Oral presentations
- Poster/ e-poster presentations
The final allocation will be decided by the Scientific Committee.
Will certificates be provided?
Yes. E-certificates of participation will be available electronically to registered delegates following the conference.
Do I need a visa to travel to Sri Lanka?
Most international delegates require a visa to enter Sri Lanka. Participants are advised to check the applicable visa requirements with the Department of Immigration and Emigration of Sri Lanka.
How can I obtain an invitation letter for my visa application?
Visa invitation letters will be issued only to registered delegates upon request. Requests may be submitted by completing the Google Form available on the Travel page or by emailing apsc2026.secretariat@gmail.com, clearly stating your full name, registration number, and the address of the relevant visa office
Will accommodation be arranged?
APSC 2026 Secretariat does not arrange accommodation for delegates.
Will airport transfers be provided?
Delegates are requested to arrange airport transfers on their own. Please refer to transport section on the website.

Will wi-fi be available at the conference venue?
Yes wi-fi will always be available free of charge during the conference.
I would like to edit my abstract after submission, is it possible?
Once your abstract has been submitted, it can be edited after logging into your APSC 2026 account. Editing can be done up until the deadline of submission as depicted in the abstract page.
Is it possible for me to register onsite during the conference?
Yes, on-site registration will be available only with cash payment in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
